The Hoffmann Group is a group of companies that is active in the trade and manufacture of professional quality tools and equipment and offers related consulting and services. The head office is Munich. The group employed around 2,900 people in 2016 and had around 135,000 customers in more than 50 countries.

In 1919 Josef Hoffmann founded the Hoffmann K.G. Quality tools in Munich. The company building was completely bombed out during the Second World War. In the post-war period succeeded his son Franz Hoffmann reconstruction. In 1973, the own brand Garant was introduced.

Today, the Hoffmann Group is present worldwide with a total of 69 branches and partners for its customers. There are 440 locations in Europe 10 of them in Germany alone. Under the motto "Tools create values", the Hoffmann Group founded its own corporate foundation in 2006. The Hoffmann Group Foundation specifically supports institutions that promote the development of disadvantaged and traumatized children and adolescents.

In 2009, the Hoffmann Group opened a new tool logistics center in Nuremberg. In 2012, the Hoffmann Group founded the company Garant Productions in Reutlingen, which produces factory furniture products. In 2014, a new logistics center for factory equipment was opened in Odelzhausen.
